Write a letter to the college enrolment officer. In your letter explain why you are writing describe your circumstances ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enrol in the course
Dear Sir,
I am writing to bring to your attention that I was unable to enrol myself on the culinary course as I was sick and unable to attend college for the past 10 days and would like to enrol myself on the same. Hope you will consider my request favourably.
Let me explain my situation in detail. I was infected with malaria and was hospitalised for the past 10 days. During my period of absence, the enrollment for the extra-curricular courses was opened. As the due date for applying has surpassed, I am unable to complete my application.
However
, I have enlisted my name in the list of interested candidates.
I would request you to consider my request to include me in the course. It not only adds value to my academics but also
helps me in taking my cooking skill to next
level. I am ok to attend the evening classes as long as I am allocated to the above-mentioned course.
Thank you for your consideration.
Yours truly
