There is a public park near where you live. You have heard that the local council wants to sell this park. Write a letter to a local newspaper. In your letter: introduce yourself describe the importance of the park say what action you will take if the council continues with its plan

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Sonali Dhir, currently a resident of the Khanna enclave. I am writing
this
letter to express my disappointment after hearing the news that the local council is planning to sell
this
Khanna park. I regret to mention that
this
is not a suitable decision by the council, and it will have consequences for the citizens residing here. Let me explain to you,
this
is the only park situated for the inhabitants where children play outdoor activities, and the elderly do their walking exercises;
moreover
, young people like us perform some sports during our leisure time.
Therefore
, if
this
recreational area will be sold, we locals have to go 5kms far from the playground which is difficult for us to commute every day. If the council does not amend their decision, I will have no choice but to complain to higher authorities. I hope you will look into the consideration of my request. Yours faithfully, Sonali Dhir
