Many criminal Re-offend after they have been punished. Why do some people continue to commit crimes after they have been punished, and what measures can be taken to tackle this problem?

The main reason for which criminals re-offend is, I believe, that they are left with no other option. When a criminal gets out of jail and tries to lead a normal life, they are not accepted by society. The biggest challenge they face is to earn a livelihood because nobody offers them a job. If they do not find some work, they are again forced to take an illegal path to feed themselves. Despite the reason mentioned above, there are a few easy solutions to tackle
this
problem.
Firstly
, the government should plan a dedicated educational program for criminals during which some basic skills are imparted,
for instance
, carpentry or other vocational skills. These skills can help a person to earn a livelihood and keep them engaged in productive work.
In addition
to
this
, there should be a counselling program for these people on a voluntary basis. If a recently released criminal,
for instance
, finds it difficult to get accepted in society, they can take the help of professionals to find their way out and get settled.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
