Other people think there are benefits if society has more elderly people. To what extent do the advantages of having an ageing population outweigh the disadvantages?
With the advancement in medical technology, the average life expectancy becomes much longer than that in the past. People have a myriad of views about whether the ageing population brings more harm or benefits to society. Although there are several arguments in favour of the ageing phenomenon, I believe the advantages are still outweighed by the disadvantages. This will be proved by the analysis of its advantage and followed by the impact on the government burden resulting from the ageing trend.

Self-employment is a growing trend and a quite enthusiastic lifestyle in the twenty first century. Owing to this controversial issue, many perefer to work for themselves instead of working for a third party being an institution or a multi-national business. Actually there are several logical reasons for becoming self-employed including the flexibility it provides, however, there are also some negative sided such as the risk of bankrupcy which require extreme diligence.

Many people would argue that playing video games and watching TV programs are helpful, however, others would argue that they do not improve mental skills of children. I totally agree with the first argument and believe that these games and programs offer visual stimulants and environment for socializing to children which might improve their mental abilities.
