Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays,
Information
plays an important role. Without the right

information

information
, no one can predict the correct outcome of any
research
or business activity. Few
people
think that sharing
information
with other
people
regarding scientific
research
, business and the academic
world
is good while other believe that
information
should not be shared freely. In
this
essay, I will discuss both viewpoints and provide my opinion.
To begin
with,
Information
is mostly used by professionals around the
world
mostly for scientific
research
and academic purposes so if
information
cost them money
then
it will be difficult for all the
people
to get that
information
because not everyone has the resources to purchase that
information
and used for there own project or
research
.
This
will restrict their
research
and all the benefits related to that
research
which in the end will affect the community.
In addition
to that, If everyone starts demanding money for
information
then
the cost of development for any technology, or medicine will become extremely high because
people
can demand any amount as per their choice for giving the required
information
. Again
this
will limit the
research
around the
world
and most developments will be stopped because might be researcher don't have enough resources to continue.
In contrast
, some
people
also
argue that researchers are spending
time
and resources to gather
information
and it is their right to take financial benefits. As per them, In today's
world
, there are no free lunches for anyone which means you have to pay for everything. There is
also
an opinion that if you give something to someone without any effort
then
maybe he will not appreciate it. In conclusion,
people
generally believe that
information
should be given to others without any cost while others think that nothing is free so
information
should
also
not be free at all. In my opinion,
information
should be free to everyone all over the
world
because if someone spent enough
time
gathering
information
then
the
next
person should follow up and starts his or her work from where the previous person ends. That will be beneficial for researchers and academic professionals because it will reduce the
time
span needed to achieve results and
time
is very valuable especially in the field of medicine because maybe
people
's lives depend on that particular
research
.
