Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. they say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make its legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

Nowadays, one of the biggest issues we face is recycling
waste
. Few
people
argue that not enough
waste
from households is recycled. As per their suggestion, the only way to increase the recycling of
waste
is through
government
laws
by making it a mandatory requirement for everyone. In
this
essay, we will study the pros and cons of making
laws
for
people
to recycle their
waste
and provide our conclusion.
To begin
with, all over the world and in all developed countries
waste
recycling is done by governments. Specialized machinery is needed to recycle the
waste
so
people
cannot recycle the
waste
on their own because they don't have the resources to do that.
Hence
, making
laws
on recycling
waste
and asking
people
to do their own recycling of
waste
from home would not be a feasible option.
Secondly
, recycling the
waste
of materials like plastic or glass may be dangerous for common
people
because during the recycling process there might be an emission of harmful gasses or materials that may cause health issues for the public.
Therefore
, by making and implementing
laws
for recycling household
waste
for
people
, the
government
will be exposing the general public to these health issues.
On the other hand
,
people
argue that once strict
laws
regarding the recycling of household
waste
are implemented
then
people
will start following these
laws
.
As a result
, once recycling
of

waste
is mandatory
then
they will spend their resources on them like they are spending on buying other utilities.
For example
, water and electricity. In Conclusion,
people
are not recycling enough
waste
that they are creating in their households and the only way to force them to do
that is
by making
laws
.
However
,
people
cannot recycle the
waste
because of factors like not having enough resources and complicated machinery needed for recycling. In my opinion, the best way to increase the recycling of household materials is, when it's done by the
government
itself by following proper processes and safety guidelines. The best
people
can do is by segregating their
waste
at the time when they hand over
this
waste
to any company or
government
.
