You work in an international company. You need to take some time off work. Write a letter to your employer. In your letter - explain why you need this time off - give details of when you want this time off - say who can do your work when you are away.

Dear Sir, It has been over a year since I
last
went on vacation. I am, hereby writing to inform you that I would like to proceed on 21 days of annual leave.
This
will allow me time to relax my brain and regenerate. I have attached the leave request form to
this
letter. There, you will see that, I am expecting, upon your approval,
to begin
my holiday on the 1st day of
next
month. My plan is to be away as stated in the request form and I should be back on the 22nd day of the same month.
Although
I will be on holiday, I can still be contacted regarding activities that require my exclusive attention. In my absence, I would like Tom to act in my capacity.
However
, as previously stated, I will be available to support him in whatever capacity I may be needed. Faith and Paul will
also
be available to assist Tom. Faith will coordinate my tasks at the south terminal while Paul will take care of the North wing. They will both report to Tom. I look forward to a prompt and positive response from you soonest. Yours faithfully Harry.
