You live in a room in college which you share with another student. You find it very difficult to work there because he or she always has friends visiting. They have parties in the room and sometimes borrow your things without asking you. Write a letter to the Accommodation Officer at the college and ask for a new room next term. You would prefer a single room. Explain your reasons.
Dear sir
I am writing
this
letter to request another room
as my roommate is creating a nuisance in my study hours and it is affecting my studies.
I am living in room
number242, hostel number 2 (girls’ hostel) of Amrita college, Palarivattam. My area is shared with another friend, Reshmi, who is studying second-year
BA in English. Most days, she is bringing visitors to my place without my permission. Add an article
a second-year
Also
, they have gatherings till late at night. This
is upsetting me mentally as well as physically. Although
I tried to make her understand my problems, she is not ready to change at all. Because of these issues, I could not concentrate on my studies and it will badly affect my career, moreover
my future.
So, I need to shift to a new room
preferably a single room
from the new term. If I get a new room
in Hostel number 4, left to our library I will be happier and more satisfied as my classmates are there. I am not worrying about the extra cost.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
