It is important to take risk, both in their professional lives and their personal lives. Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages?

Taking risk in Professional and personal
lives
are essential. The advantages of taking
risks
massively outweigh the disadvantages. Risk in professional
lives
can take you to another level in terms of experience and knowledge. But, it can backfire. On the other ,hand if we don't take
risks
, we can lose many opportunities.
For example
, if a newcomer employee take risk of leading a project. There is a possibility he can win the hearts of his superiors and get a promotion.
Also
if he failed, he can get experience which can help in
further
projects.
On the other hand
, taking
risks
in personal
lives
is
also
important.
Risks
don't mean putting your life in danger. It can be taking one step forward in a relationship knowing that anything can happen.
For instance
, if someone wants to take a forward step by proposing to their partner. They should take it, no one knows, what will happen
next
. That decision can bring happiness to their
lives
. Rather than regretting, their
lives
could be different, if they took that step. In my opinion, the advantages of taking
risks
outweigh the disadvantages because it can give you happiness, knowledge and experience. These are things no one can achieve without taking
risks
in their
lives
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
