and relocate to London, I have been spending a lot of time packing my belongings.

requested my friends to help me with the tasks and my friends and I ended up chatting till late in the night.

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

Nowadays, when applying for work, you are obligated to engage in an interview as a trial to determine whether you are a valuable asset to a company's firm. But recently, I find that this method of choosing workers is quite insubstantial because of how little evidence is provided to entrust new individuals, which will be further elaborated and clipped with a hypothetical solution.
