Do you agree or disagree with the idea that high schools should prohibit students from using their sell phones at school?

Some people argue that the
use
of smartphones should be restricted in high school. while teenagers can get more knowledge and news from the internet by cellphones, I disagree with
this
opinion and believe that
students
in high school cannot
use
their phones on campus.
Firstly
, we should admit that smartphones bring convenience and some advantages to high school

learning and lives.
Students
can learn extensive knowledge from the internet compared to reading limited books. Meanwhile, they are allowed to study some special lessons which cannot be provided by high schools,
such
as business, law and finance. If there are interested, they can learn college lessons in advance.
However
,
students
are more likely to leverage smartphones to do what adults do not expect them to do.
For example
, they tend to scroll through social media and chat with online friends when they feel bored with one certain course. There is no doubt that these behaviours are harmful to
students
' grades and
further
degrade their passion for studying. In
this
situation, some pupils may
use
their mobile phones for gaming or something
that is
not related to education.
This
would mean that the
use
of mobile phones could distract their attention.
For instance
, one of my friends from the class is often using his gadget to play games.
As a result
, he got the lowest mark on the exam compared with others.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
