New stories on TV and in newspapers are very often accompanied by pictures. Some people say that these pictures are more effective than words. What is your opinion about this?

Nowadays, it is an increasing trend that news on media,
such
as TV and newspapers, is combined with images. Some people believe that it will be attractive to human sight. In my opinion, as far as

this
essay, I will discuss the reasons why I agree with the view. One of the major reasons is that pictures are easier to understand than articles. If a story with images, the crowd would direct bump into it and know what happened immediately without thinking.
For example
, most advertisements for houses are included photos and a few sentences about locations, money and rooms in a single picture. Recently, in some research, the sales results showed that the news with photos is better than only words.
Furthermore
, another good point for adding some images in the stories is that it rapidly attracts humans' eyes-sights.
This
is because human beings' brains prefer to focus on imagination, which is colourful or brightening.
For instance
, in Taiwan, the most popular newspaper is the Apple daily newspapers company. It not only uses some unforgettable titles but
also
chooses a lot of colours for decorating the whole story. In
this
way, residents would be more interested in the stories which they wrote.
Although
the news in all different companies is similar, good pictures would encourage the community to buy one. To sum up, there are several benefits for articles to introduce some pictures. It not only shortens the time for humans to realize the stories but
also
inspires people to buy those merchandise.
