Your friend is thinking about learning to drive and would like some advice. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, say why a driving licence is advantageous, recommend a driving school, give any extra guidance/tips

Dear Raju, I hope you are doing well. I am writing
this
letter to help you to take a decision about getting a driving
licence
. Driving a motor vehicle is so fun and entertaining, you can travel to any place you love
such
as beautiful mountains scenario. It is very important to hold a driving
licence
because if the police caught you driving a car without a
licence
you have to pay a heavy fine or you can go to jail as well.
Furthermore
, I would love to suggest a driving school named 'Krishna Driving School' they will teach you how to drive a motor vehicle in a very simple way as well as they will make you practise a lot of various cars. I want to tell you a few extra things from my side that don't get frightened while driving a car for the
first
time. Apart from that, follow all the instructions given by the instructor through which you will learn how to drive flawlessly. After you have learned to drive properly I suggest you go for getting a
licence
from the government straight away. Best regards! Shah Harshil

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
