You rent a flat with your friend who is moving out. It is too expensive for you to pay the rent alone. Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter: •explain the situation •describe why you would like to stay in this flat •ask the landlord if you can find another flatmate

Dear Ms Brown, I am writing
this
letter in regard to the current situation of renting your apartment. As you already know I and my friend is renting your place for the
last
2 years. Even though the rent was pretty high, we managed to split our rent because of the facilities and convenience. My roommate is done with her studies and now she is ready to move to her hometown. I am really interested in continuing my rental here, but I am a bit worried about the rent as it is out of my budget.
This
apartment is very near to my university which saves me the time of commute. All the amenities which a student needs are right here which makes it a great place to stay.
Furthermore
, I am in my final year, it would be inconvenient for me to just change places for 1 year. I am ready to share
this
flat if anyone is available. I can help you as well to find a new flatmate. Thank you for your consideration and hope to get a positive response. Yours sincerely Monica
