A large number of museums take admission fee from the visitors,however, some are free of charge. In my opinion, it is advantageous in terms of managing the running expenses as well as making people cautious towards the items being diaplayed there, which definitely overcome the drawbacks of not charging for admission. Firstly, the collection of entry fee from the visitors bring a massive revenue to the museum authorities to pay off their utility bills, staff salaries, and repair and maintenance cost of the building. The museums are usually not being fully funded from the Governement, hence, the subsidized amount offered by the governement never fulfills the monthly expenses. Therefore, The admision fee generously contributes to the monthly budget of the building to avoid the late submission of the bills against the provision of the services.
