In today's era of technology, television, the internet and digital media are the prominent sources of entertainment for humankind.

Although

some people argue that these inventions especially television is either an 'Idiot box' or an influential educational practice. I will illustrate the pros and cons of

statement in the following paragraphs and explain my opinion.

Firstly

is a revolution in today's globalised world, because it connects all the people from different countries together.

For example

, during the FIFA World Cup, every human being was able to watch the matches on live

at the same time and gain knowledge about different nations' teams and their diverse culture.

Moreover

, it has countless channels which can be used as a medium of entertainment and educational practice.

For instance

, A person can watch a news channel to acquire knowledge about different events that are happening nationwide.

In addition

, people gain an understanding of various species of animals and history by watching channels like Discovery or History

gadget has numerous advantageous features but, it

comes with detrimental impacts

as, if a student starts spending his precious time watching television rather than studying

, it will negatively affect his grades by causing an interruption.

Furthermore

disturbance will lead to less exposure to physical activities for adolescents and adults

, it will lead to an unhealthy lifestyle and contagious health issues like obesity, weak eyesight, laziness etcetera. To conclude, there are some merits and demerits of a

Therefore

, If a person knows how to use the device mindfully

, that invention provides them success and achievements. After a thorough analysis of

In today's times, unlike old times, people have become very spontaneous and they think it is the best to not plan anything and go with the flow, especially when it comes to travel or planning a vacation. I do believe that unplanned trips can sometimes lead to best memories, however it can also lead to a lot of problems.

Some peope believe that the demonstration of action, gore and fighting scenes in visual media is negatively our children and adults as it makes them vulnreble to develop aggressive traits. This essay completely agree with this viewpoint because an increased exposure to such media have negative consequences on our youth and also it also motivate people to engage in criminal activities who have propensity towards crime.

Nowadays, the methods of living are changed considerably, while the children’s positions have undergone more than the rest age group people. I totally agree with the giving statement, believing that the new world has a noticeable potential to harm children through junk food and computer games, and two powerful organs, family and school, can manage these problems.
