You have decided to go on a holiday to a foreign country for 2 weeks, and you want one of your friends to come with you. Write a letter to your friend asking him/her to accompany you. In your letter, – explain where and when you want to go – give details of the travel, dates and costs involved – describe some of the things you want to do

Dear Franklin,
I’m
pleased to know you will be on vacation
next
month, so
I’m
writing to invite you to spend two weeks with me travelling to Thailand, I will give you some information about the plans before you answer me. Most people travel to Thailand during the summer months, but
I’m
thinking to go in the
second
week of April, during the autumn season, because it is colder than in summer and I think we will enjoy our time there better.
I’m
considering visiting some temples in Bangkok and
also
some small islands the most famous, Phi Phi Island. At the moment,
I’m
in contact with a tourism agent who told me that a standard vacation package including 14 days of accommodation in a Hotel, from April 14th to 28th, plus three tickets to visit Temples or Museums in the city centre and four guided visits to some local islands will cost $780 dollars, a bargain. When we get there,
I’m
planning that go
first
to two Buddhist Temples and The National Museum,
then
we can explore the Asian seas by visiting some islands, and
finally
, on the following ,days we can hang around and check out local attractions
such
as pubs and some musicals by ourselves. Looking forward to catching up, Best wishes

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
