Dear Manager, I am writing
this
letter to you to tell my problem and request some time off work
. I will not be able to work
next month
. Because I have some problems. Last
Saturday I went to the mountains to see their beautiful scenes with my friends. However
, I injured my legs on our second day. Then
we went to the hospital. Then
the doctor gave me advice that I should not go out and work
till next month
. For
this
reason, I cannot go to work
this
month
. I am going to suggest that I can work
online during this
month
. I would certainly be interested in hearing from you soon. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. I hope you will resolve the matter to our satisfaction. If you need any other details, please feel free to write to me. Thank you for your time and consideration. Yours sincerely, Dream girl

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
