In their advertising businesses nowadays usually emphasize that their products are new in some way. Why is this the case? Do you think it’s a positive or negative development?

Today,
adverts
are believed to pervasively insist that their
products
are different and new compared to the rest of the
products
in the markets. The essay will attempt to discuss the reasons why and provides a personal opinion on whether or not the development is positive.
To begin
with,
adverts
are viewed as
way
too prevalent to be noticed anymore
thus
many
products
have lost their main platform
as well as
their credibility, for that’s what every advert does, attempting to stand out from the rest but, failing to live up to the promises made. By
way
of example,
adverts
manifest only the upsides of a product whilst many people may not know it, purchase it and regret doing so at all,
therefore
the owners and those who earn benefit from the product are disposed to come up with innovative ideas, either for the product itself or the
way
in which they introduce it through advertisements. In my perspective, apart from the fact that the competition amongst the sellers and vendors to justify their
products
and prove their reliability and innovation can
consequently
promote some sort of creativity, the bigger picture of the popularized trend suggests
otherwise
. By
way
of example,
due to
the increased competition among the companies to prevail, the
products
can actually happen to improve which is a positive development,
for instance
; when companies accumulate information about the complaints which people may have, is enabled to actually ensure its quality.
Nevertheless
, as mentioned earlier people have become drastically ignorant of advertisements so that when one comes up on the screen, they even tend to switch channels,
thus
to actually grab the public’s attention,
adverts
have to be designed in ways to convince society to
firstly
follow the entire commercial to the end than to actually succeed at persuading them to buy their
products
.
This
can contribute to the tendency for manipulating the crowd by displaying substandard qualities, making false promises and exaggerating the worthwhile sides of their
products
just to prove they have something ‘’ new ‘’ to offer.
To conclude
, even though the epidemic seems to be a positive one by prompting companies to be more innovative, it’s more likely to drive them into manipulating society into buying their
products
.
