Some people feel that the media has the strongest impact on people’s lives. Others feel that it is politicians who have the most control over the way people lives. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion

It has been a debatable topic these days about whether the
media
or politicians influence
people
's lives the most. Each perspective has its own underlying reasons in correlation with the scope and exact powers that are going to be discussed throughout
this
essay. By the end of
this
passage, I will be conveying my personal idea in response to the mentioned issue. Interaction among
people
for the past many years has been impacted a lot by communication and information
media
. It is not hesitated at all to mention televisions and social
media
as strong examples of that
due to
the reason of their accessibility around the world. To illustrate, as
people
cannot live independently without socialising with others, the existence of social
media
has been acknowledged by a growing number of
people
as a new way for them to interact, share and even, collaborate.
This
absolutely is good news for everyone, regarding that they now can straightforwardly make appointments with others to run their businesses. Politics,

behaviours as well, particularly, since the period when nations worldwide started to realize the indespensabilities of political systems for national prosperity. Numerous
people
, regrettably, involve themselves way too much which
subsequently
leads to unhealthy debate. Many huge conflicts have been shown in the
media
caused by political opposition.
However
, the political concern is still exclusive which means it is still being a discussion among groups of
people
. There are plenty of problems in the world that other groups of
people
are more concerned about,
such
as war, poverty, and survival. It can be summarized that
media
has a bigger influence over society's lives rather than politics.
This
is supported by the fact that until nowadays,
media
has been reaching more
people
around the world;
while
politics is remaining the consumption of some groups of
people
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
