Some people think that teenagers should follow the old generation but others believe that they sould challenge the old thoughts. Discuss both view and give your opinion.

In recent times there are lots of
thoughts
and ways to follow juveniles.
While
some people believe that juveniles should follow the pathways of the past generations, others are beside the rejection of old values and
beliefs
. I personally stand on the point that teenagers should embrace and respect

old
beliefs
because they will never be lost if they maintain
this
. Old
thoughts
and
beliefs
possess some kind of customs and behaviour which even today we cannot disobey. Those old
thoughts
definitely carry some perspectives and feelings that should take into consideration because of their timelessness.
Hence
, if the young
generation
makes an attempt to follow in the footsteps of the old
generation
they will find a lot of positive changes in their lives. Old
thoughts
are never old rather they show a clear pathway of motivating and encouraging every
generation
.
For example
, kindness, empathy, compassion, and affection towards humanity and any living being are always appreciated by each age.
Therefore
, following these attributes make the new
generation
more rich and wealthy from the heart.
However
,
according to
some people old ideas and values are somewhat backdated and useless only because they are old. They believe that juveniles should maintain new
beliefs
and values which only go hand in hand with the contemporary age. Believing in new
thoughts
, accepting the present and achieving the future is their only focus in life.
In addition
, they are believing in creating new
beliefs
and guidelines rather than obeying the old ones.
However
, in the long run, they would never succeed because if anyone cannot accept the past he cannot embrace the present.
To conclude
, old
thoughts
and ideas are essential for the upbringing and betterment of teenagers. In my personal opinion , believing in old
thoughts
never left us empty-handed.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
