The given chart elaborates on the expenditure on five main entertainment activities in three continents, namely the
USA
, Europe and Asia in 1995 and 2000. Looking from an
overall
perspective it is really apparent , that the
USA
's spending on entertainment is comparably higher than the others in both years,
whereas
the Asian continent depicts a lesser interest.
Although
the three comparables are different in their numbers, all showed a rising trend over the years.In every sector , publishing and watching television were remarkable .Attending the cinema, and watching videos attracted a few only.Listening to music was less popular than publishing and television but it was more than that cinema and videos. In the
USA
the most popular activity was publishing at any given period and in 1995 the total number of people who enjoyed these was 184 and it rose to 257 in 2000.When considering Europe's total entertainment figure stood at 97 well below that of the
USA
and increased to 131 in 2000 ,staying again at a lower point than the
USA
.
Besides
,Category-wise,publishing and TV were the most encountered practices, similar to that of the
USA
.With regard to Asia followed a similar pattern where tv and publishing accounted for more than 50% of the total, but participants were much less compared to the others.It was only 67 in 1995 and inclined to 110 in 2000.
