Some people feel that the design of newly constructed buildings in big cities should be controlled by governments. Others believe those who finance the construction of a building should be free to design it as they see fit. Discuss both views and give your opinion

There has been much discussion about newly constructed
buildings
in big
cities
. As the building industry is rapidly rising, more
buildings
are built inside the bigger
cities
.
This
is because of the urbanization process, where
people
from smaller towns or villages start to move to the larger
cities
. That means that the bigger
cities
are introduced with new residential, commercial and infrastructural structures. That leads us to the discussion: should the
government
control the
design
of a new building or the
design
of the building should be left fully to the
people
who finance the construction. The
design
of a newly constructed building is regulated by the
government
when the building is planned on the site of interest,
for example
:
city
center or a new business district. In
this
case these commercial, office
buildings
are designed with the regulation and limitations which are provided by the
government
. The architects and designers need to follow the rules which they were given to match the surrounding
buildings
and avoid disruption inside the
city
center. Which is good for the general
city
planning and creation.
However
, the
government
does not control the
design
of residential
buildings
in the suburban area of the
city
. The
design
of private houses are totally left to decide for
people
who finance the construction. Independent
design
of the residential houses represent the family which lives inside the building.
People
are able to create diverse and interesting neighborhoods with multiple different house designs which create a choatic harmony in the area which gives the place its identity. Having thought about both I think that it is good that the
government
is having regulations and limitations for the newly build
buildings
inside more important areas in the
city
. That helps to keep and value the urban cityscape without any disruptions.
Therefore
,
government
gives more opportunities in
design
when the house are built in the suburban areas there the house is a way to express yourself and
also
create something
that is
just for you.
