The
proportion
of oil took half total
resources in 1985 and it fell to nearly 40% in 2003. Nuclear power had the same fashion as oil when the Correct article usage

of that energy plummeted by approximately 15%. The only resource that was unchanged during that period was hydro, 8%. The ratio of other renewable resources increased slightly from 1% to 4%.
Conversely
, there were two increases in statistics for two types of energy: natural gas and coal. In 2003, the percentage of coal rose almost 4 times equal to the one in 1985, 22%. Finally
, there was a 10% up in the proportion
of natural gas, from 13% to 23%.
In general, the figure for oil took the largest part in total and the proportion
