are more and more popular all over the world. Some people may think that the entrance fee
to art
galleries
and museums
should be free, while
I think that some of us should still pay the entry ticket in order to preserve these places.
On one hand, people think that art
galleries
and museums
are related to one country
's culture, heritage and history. The public is able to learn more about their country
from visiting these places, and hence
increase their sense of belonging to the community and country
. Therefore
, the government
should pay for the entrance fee
and allow citizens with different social backgrounds and statuses including the grassroots are able to have a chance to visit them.
On the other hand
, as art
galleries
and museums
represent one country
's culture, they could become tourists' talking points and attraction sites, and hence
they could serve as important financial support to the government
. The government
has many other issues to deal with, such
as medical issues, educational issues and security problems,which all need a high financial budget, in order to maintain the country
running smoothly.Compared with the above issue which are the basic needs of humans, Art
is luxury. As a large percentage of the government
budget is allocated to other aspects, the government
may not handle the high maintenance fee
of the museums
and galleries
without any financial support from the tourists, in turn, more and more art
galleries
and museums
would be demolished in long term.
In conclusion, although

galleries
and museums
represent the country
's culture and history and all the citizens should have the right to visit them, I still disagree that entry to art
galleries
and museums
should be free for all people, indeed, I think all least tourists should pay for the entrance fee
in order to support the high maintenance fee
