In many countries people increasingly talk about money (how much they earn or how much they pay for things in their daily conversations). Why? Is this a positive or negative development?

It is almost impossible to imagine nowadays society without money. They play a vital role in everyday life and throughout the world conversations about income and expenses take place. In

essay main reasons why is it happening and why, from my point of view, it has a devastating effect on society as a whole, will be discussed. One of the main reasons why people are talking more about their budget might be the fact that everyone's priorities have changed.

previous generations valued families and friends more, the new one is considered to be more materialistic. One's success,

number of cars or the cost of an outfit. Since individuals prefer to speak about topics , which are important to them, it explains why everybody is talking about money. Increasing talks about finances might have a negative impact on people, as not everyone has a sufficient income.
Thus
, if someone rich is talking about how much they spend on holidays,

, it might make people with low salaries feel intimidated.
This
might result in a growing gap between social groups in society and,

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
