The picture shown demonstrates the transformations that the village has had between 1995 and the present day. As it is seen on the bottom left hand of the map, the fish market has been removed to create space for the construction of new apartments. A noticeable change in the south is the fact that the fishing port right by the sea no longer exists. Just across the road from the fish market, the shops have been replaced with a huge restaurant. On the top left hand of the map, it comes to attention that the number of houses has increased and the roads have been extended towards the west side of the village. In the northeastern corner, a golf field has been built where the farmland used to be.
