Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are many international efforts to help poor
countries
financially.
However
, some
people
believe that money is insufficient and that other types of support should be provided for those
countries
to overcome
poverty

I will discuss how we can help
countries
in need other than financially. Money is often provided by developed
countries
to help enhance the quality of life for poor nations. As enough funds are there to build better facilities
such
as hospitals, schools and roads.
Hence
people
can have better health care, education for their children and proper roads for transportation.
However
, financial support is not the best aid since corruption is mostly the main reason for
poverty
in these
countries
.
Thus
, it could be stolen by corrupted governments and would never be used to help the poor.
Therefore
, money is not the ideal aid to reduce
poverty
in poor
countries
.
That is
why many
people
argue that providing other types of help can be more valuable.
Poverty
in these
countries
takes many shapes. One of which is hunger.
That is
why proving basic and clean food
such
as milk, flour, rice, sugar and salt would reduce their hunger greatly. Especially when establishing an association that distributes
this
food monthly. Another example of help is giving clothes, especially during winter time. Since most poor
people
can not afford to buy jackets and warm clothes for the cold weather.
Hence
such
help would be very beneficial for them.
Lastly
, providing over-the-counter medications
such
as analgesics, vitamins and ulcer ointment can help them manage mild illnesses easily.
Finally
, helping poor
countries
is a noble deed done by many developed
countries
. So I moderately agree that providing all kinds of help is more valuable than financial support. As it reaches the
people
in need directly.
