The graph below provides us with information about the number of tourists between 2010 and 2017 visiting a particular Caribbean island. As we can see on the chart, the general trend in the total number of visitors is upward. It has grown by two and a half million, and in 2017 the total number of visitors makes up three-point-five million. It has been slightly growing until 2016, and in 2017 growth was phenomenal, it was a seven hundred and fifty thousand increase. From 2010 the sum of tourists staying on the island was a bit higher than the sum of people staying on a cruise ship, but in 2016 and 2017,
due to
the rapid growth, the total of people staying on cruise ships became a leader. In a nutshell, because of the increase in the total of tourists, there was an
overall
growth in both visitors staying on cruise ships and on the island.
