You travelled by a long distance bus recently and your suitcase was damaged. Write a letter to the bus company. In your letter •Inform the bus company of when and to where you travelled •Describe your suitcase and what happened to it •Explain why the company should pay for a new suitcase
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to inform you of the severe damage to my luggage which I experienced
while
I was travelling as a passenger on bus Express 303 on 28 May, and I also
request compensation for such
damage.
Allow me first to provide you with the specifics of the trip. One week earlier, On the twenty-first of May, I booked an e-ticket from your online platform from Cairo to Alexandria, and the ticket number was 20034. After that, I received a confirmation letter from your company notifying me that my transaction had been delivered successfully.
In relation to the specifics of my suitcase, it was a handbag made of genuine brown leather with 2 large interior compartments and a zipped outside pocket. Moreover
, it was of such
significance to me since not only did it look trendy , but also
it was a medium-sized bag that can perfectly suit my laptop. However
, it was severely damaged when I placed it on the luggage rack due to
a sharp needle which was pointing out from that rack. After I had reached the station, I realized that the bag had a large tear in the middle of it.
As compensation, and given the fact that it was entirely the foul-up of your representatives who blatantly ignored checking luggage racks for the safety of your passengers' suitcases, I demand full coverage of the expenses of a new briefcase which would range from 50 to 60 USD.
I implore you to take this
concern seriously and thank you in advance for your prompt response.
Faithfully,
