Some people think parents should read stories to children. Others thinkparents don't need to do that as children can read books or watch TV, movies bythemselves. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It is generally acknowledged that the
relationship
between
parents
and their
children
relates to how much they spend
time
together. Some families love reading for their offspring,
while
some support their
children
to do things themselves.
This
essay will elaborate on both views, including clear examples.
To begin
with, many
parents
prioritize spending
time
with their
children
as much as possible. Some of them even set family rules or specific times to do interesting events together.
For example
, a mom will read a bedtime story every night and a dad will teach gardening to their kids every weekend.
Consequently
,
such
moments can strengthen increasingly a
relationship
among family members. The positive impact of a strong
relationship
can be that
children
tend to share everything with their adults as their good friends.
Therefore
,
parents
can take care of most of their issues. The opposite view of parenting, some people let their
children
entertain themselves. These
parents
believe that the forms of action allow youngsters to accelerate their development and life skills.
For example
, reading and researching academic topics without

others'

suggestions will expose learners to in-depth knowledge and endless exploration. On top of that, if
children
can carry on things on their own,
parents
will not have a lot of
time
to concentrate
besides
the
time
to focus on their
children
. In
this
regard, families with
this
type of parenting will do things individually more than together. In summary, I strongly support the idea that
parents
should spend
time
with their beloved offspring in favour of a strong
relationship
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
