Nowadays, news media has become one of the pillars of the country’s economy. For that reason, there was some statement that the propensity of broadcast journalism to concentrate on troubles and crises rather than positive improvement is damaging for communities and society. I totally agree with that statement as I probably think that is the duty of the news media.

While there are valid arguments to the contrary, in this essay I would contend that the benefits of embracing calculated risk far outweigh its drawbacks. The benefits are twofold.
