Scientific developments in farming always bring major benefits. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In
this
modern era, The development of scientific research has brought several benefits to farming. Some people state that with the advancement of ,knowledge gardeners will always gain more benefits. From my point of view,
although
it is undeniable that studies have provided many advantages to farming, it
also
brings a demerit which will be explained in the following paragraphs. On the one hand, scientific studies have made farming more profitable. In the past, people used to rely on the weather when they farm which means that they needed to wait for the rainy season if they wanted to cultivate some products
such
as rice or another short-term crop.
However
, these days, farmers could utilize some technology products for watering their plants;
as a result
, they may gain profit twice or three times higher compared to the past.
On the other hand
, since many farmers aspire to get more profit, there is a predisposition for them to use manure as much as possible. It Is widely known that manure is used for increasing the quality of crops which may give farmers more profits.
Nevertheless
, despite being important, the utilization of fertilizer may exacerbate the quality of the soil in which the crops are planted. Because of the chemical substances that are contained, fertilizer may be good just for a short period of time. On the basis of these statements, it can be concluded that
although
the advancement of research on farming may promise more earnings, I believe that it could
also
provide a disadvantage
such
as the utilizer that may worsen the condition of the soil. Given
this
situation, Should the government govern the use of manure, farming would be safer.
