You have just received an invitation to an art exhibition. You would like more details about the event before you decide to go. Write a letter to the organiser asking for more details. In your letter • thank them for the invitation • ask what kind of art will be on display and the size of each section • ask if any of the artists will be present

Dear Sir/Madam, I'm writing to you
this
letter to thank you for your invitation, it's great kind of you, I felt over the moon to have the chance to attempt
such
an enormous art exhibition. I enquire some questions before the finalising decision is taken, what is the location and when the exhibition will occur, how many people did you invite?
Due to
the fact of, covid I can't be in crowded places.
Moreover
what type of art will be shown there and what is the schedule of it? when the first sessions will start? Is there any break? How long? And the
last
section when it will end up? I need all that information so

can plan my time. I'm concerned
also
about which of the famous and local artists will show up. All of the are classic artists or there are modern, vintage and fine art artists? I'm looking forward to your reaction. Yours sincerely Rafal Latif

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
