Some people believe that no one should be allowed to continue working after the a g e of 65. However, others say there shouldn't limitation on age and anyone should be allowed to work regardless of their age. Discuss both views, give your own opinion and include relevant examples.

It is always a debatable issue of what
age
is the perfect
age
for
retirement
.
However
, there are predominantly two contrasting views where a section of society vehemently argues that the
age
of
retirement
should be restricted,
while
other advocates that
age
should not be considered. In
this
essay, I will discuss both sides, and I personally feel that
age
restriction is not worth taking into consideration On the other side, individuals who argue that there should be an
age
limit in the workplace have myriad justifications to support their side. The first and foremost, the most intrinsic one is that senior employees may experience a decline in their physical and mental health, which can impact their ability to perform office
work
effectively.
Also
, they may not be adaptable to workplace technological changes, leading to less productivity than younger colleagues.
Moreover
, some argue that they are taking up the jobs that can be given to unemployed younger employees. On the other side, the opponents of
age
restriction,
however
, feel that older staff bring wealth and experience to the company, which can be invaluable to younger workers.
Additionally
, senior workers have developed strong
work
ethics with their expertise and are often more reliable and dedicated to
work
.
Finally
, by maintaining a diverse workforce that includes individuals of different ages, we can create a more dynamic and innovative
work
environment. In my opinion, deciding when a person wants to quit working should be an individual choice. We should evaluate the employees based on their ability and contributions rather than their
age
. We
also
need to acknowledge that everyone's needs and priorities are different.
For example
, a person may want to continue working after
retirement
because they enjoy their
work
or find it fulfilling,
while
some retire early to pursue their passions. In conclusion,
age
should not be a factor in
retirement
. Ultimately, we need to create effective policies which can benefit the older
as well as
the younger.
