Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship between people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued by some
people
that honesty is the most crucial factor for human interaction in our society. I partly agree with
this
opinion, and in
this
essay, I will state the reasons for my view. The main point is that being honest fosters trust among individuals which would enhance a healthy relationship between them. To elaborate, speaking the
truth
requires bravery and consistently hearing it will develop reliability
hence
it establishes a foundation of trust.
For example
,
according to
the researchers, clients who were priorly informed of both the strengths and weaknesses of a product are likely to patronage that business again rather than those who covered up the
truth
.
In addition
, open and honest communication could result in better understanding and problem-solving in social lives
instead
of endless conflicts and misunderstandings.
On the contrary
, revealing the
truth
without considering the negative consequences could result in unnecessary harm to others; there are some
people
who have difficulties accepting reality.
For instance
, If a sport enthusiastic child is commented harshly for his failure in training, it will definitely discourage him to pursue his sport career
therefore
we should use a simple white lie to be more supportive of him.
Moreover
,
people
come from diverse backgrounds and each culture has their own social norms about the
truth
subsequently
we should always take into account privacy, sensitivity and emotional well-being before speaking the
truth
so that we can mitigate the risk of offending or insulting anyone. In conclusion,
although
I agree with the opinion that sincerity is valuable in humanity, there are other aspects to be considered
such
as cultural norms, and the potential impact on
people
to determine speaking the
truth
.
