Children
are the future of the country. Some have the opinion that
children
have more available
time
apart from their studies and work from
school
and they perceive that
children
should spend their free on doing more
school
work, but I believe
otherwise
because they have to concentrate on other parts of life
such
as extracurricular
activities
and ethics from their elders. Extracurricular
activities
, for some
children
, turn out to be the heart of their lives rather than academics.
Activities
like singing, dancing, and arts sometimes have the greatest impact on pupils as not all of them are good at studies. Exploring as many
activities
as they can during
school
-going age will help them to find out what they are interested in and what they can be good at as well.
For instance
, a child who is not good in studies but excellent in arts can focus her/his path in that sector. As I said
children
are the future, and the country's future cannot only depend on
education
as there are other sectors to concentrate on as well.
Education
without ethics will not be valued, so ethical
education
should always be part of childhood, which cannot be taught in
school
by teachers, but it is best taught by grandparents and parents.
Children
growing up when facing situations with moral dilemmas
this
ethical
education
will help them to take appropriate decisions.
For example
, my younger brother recently wrote an exam at his
school
for which he did not prepare properly but
instead
of copying like his friends he wrote what he knew and failed but still, he was feeling good about it as he did not lose his moral ground. It can be concluded that even though some folks believe that
children
should spend more
time
on
school
work during their free
time
I am against it. They should spend their
time
on extracurricular
activities
and ethical
education
from family.
