The maps show changes in a city in 1950 and now
The given maps depict the major development in a city compared to 1950. In general, it appears that the municipal district has become much more urbanized, with far more residential areas. Another interesting point is that the majority of infrastructure can be found in the centre of the city. One interesting change is that the housing space has been immensely expanded in all directions of the municipality centre. Another striking change is that the construction of a dam on the eastern edge of the residential area has impacted the erection of the large lake that stretches into all areas of the town centre.
Moreover
, the bridge has been erected in the east of the river, which was next to the dam. If we look at the southern part of the town, the airport has been enlarged to accommodate more aeroplanes, and the business district in the middle of the city has been expanded to the south. A final interesting development is that the government building still stands inside the business district, and the second building has been constructed doubled in size with a road has been opened up to the south of the town.
