What are the pros and cons for children of watching television?

Nowadays, the influence of television on
children
is enormous and play a key role in their life. Many use it for educational and entertainment purposes. But what are the benefits of
this
situation, and what are the drawbacks? In
this
essay, we will look at both sides and try to draw some conclusions. Let’s begin by looking at the advantages of using a television. One of the main positives of using it is that
TV
can help the younger generation to learn new things easier. By developing technologies and animation people replaced traditional and old methods of teaching with new and effective ways of explanations. Another advantage of using
TV
for
children
’s education is attraction. The process of education became more interesting than before. New methods allowed people to attract and involve their
children
in the educational process. Turning to the other side of the argument, overusing is a major problem.
Children
tend to watch
TV
more than it can be allowed. So, some of them have an addiction and
this
problem create moral and physical disability. One of the biggest disadvantages of
TV
is content. Police and society try to control all contents of mass media for youth.
However
, some of the bad and amoral information can be watched by a child. It has a dramatic influence on
children
's behaviour. All things considered, using
TV
for educational purposes is a good idea. But you need to weigh up the pros of attractive and interesting educational processes, weather and so on, and the cons of bad content and addiction. Personally, I believe the benefits in terms of education outweigh any negatives.
