In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Population travel to different locations in their daily life, so good transportation services are a requirement of every day. Some public believe that money should spend on advanced technology like fast
trains
;
while
few argue that local transport should be improved. I agree with
both
views, each perception has its own importance for the development and prosperity of the country. Government should invest money in railway modification for citizens. In
this
modern age, parallel to the advanced technologies, we should spend money on updating our conveyance too. Fast
trains
are used by many developed countries because it’s time-saving
due to
their rapid speed.
Moreover
, lower prices than airfares are an additional benefit. Its salient example is a new track in Saudia Arabia that decreases the travel time to five hours. Public conveyance is used by communities belonging to low- socioeconomic areas. Many
people
use buses and
trains
due to
higher petrol prices but, devastated routes and vehicles are troublesome for travellers.
Moreover
, because of insufficient work in
this
department, many workers are suffering from difficulties. For ,example many
people
didn’t reach at jobs
due to
damaged roads. So
this
is the responsibility of the government sector to compensate for the damages to the transport services. In my opinion, I agree with
both
views, because each factor has a significant impact on different
people
. Conclusively,
both
facilities have their own worth. Fast
trains
are the need of modern life,
while
poor
people
are dependent on local services, so the government should consider
both
issues and rectify the troubles.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
