The given line graph provides a comparison of the number of people who play various sports in a certain area during the period from 1985 to 2005. From an
overall
perspective, it is evident that residents in
this
region who take part in tennis showed an upward trend,
whereas
a reverse pattern could be observed in the figure for rugby. In 1985, the number of residents who play rugby was the highest, at approximately 240. The figure for tennis and basketball was lower, at exactly 150 and about 80, correspondingly. Badminton players,
however
, accounted for the lowest number, roughly 55. After increasing significantly to exactly 200 in 1995, the data on citizens who take part in tennis rose to about 220 in 2005. There was a quick decline in rugby, reaching the same value as the data on tennisers in 1995 and a bottom of 50 in the final year. The areas
also
witnessed a slight decrease in the figure for badminton to exactly 50
at the end
of the period shown, and
this
data was lower than that for basketball, staying unchanged at around 70.
