Some people think international cooperation has brought benefits to world environment protection, while some people think more benefits have been brought to international business. Discuss both views and give you own opinion.

In recent days, the topic of whether international
cooperation
helps environmental protection or promotes international business
cooperation
has aroused heated debates in society. I support the idea that international
cooperation
helps
countries
solve their own environmental problems,
while
others argue that it promotes business
cooperation
and
thus
increases profits. On the one hand, international
cooperation
can enable
countries
to exchange advanced experiences and technologies in environmental protection, share resources, and learn from each other's strengths.
This
will help
countries
to solve their own environmental problems.
Additionally
,
countries
can jointly legislate, reach a consensus at the legal level, jointly punish behaviours that are not environmentally friendly, and increase taxes on high-polluting multinational
companies
to reduce environmental pollution.
On the other hand
, international
cooperation
can expand the scale of
companies
in various
countries
, enabling small
companies
to become multinational corporations.
Cooperation
between
countries
provides wireless business opportunities for
companies
, and profits will
also
increase significantly.
In addition
, international
cooperation
has enabled multinational corporations to transfer some of their heavily polluting industrial chains to other
countries
.
However
, at the same time, it has provided sufficient jobs for those underdeveloped
countries
.
Although
it may cause certain environmental pollution, it has
also
provided local labour with sufficient employment positions.
This
not only promotes the increase of corporate profits but
also
promotes the development of the local economy. In my opinion, international
cooperation
has promoted the prosperity of international trade. Materials and money are constantly circulating, and
countries
have become richer and richer.
This
has provided governments with sufficient funds to solve environmental problems.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
