✨ Do you want to improve your IELTS writing?
Dear Sir,
This
is to inform you that I recently finished a
course
on
Cloud
Engineering and its emergence conducted by Mr Williams at Seneca College. The
course
was all about the new
cloud
frameworks which are being adopted in the technology industry and how it is going to expand in future. The session was very informative and interesting. It was divided into theoretical
as well as
practical classes. The theoretical sessions were very detailed with lots of information about recent developments in
cloud
engineering.
However
, the practical sessions were the most enjoyable ones. In these sessions, the practical examples have to be implemented after every chapter finishes. These examples, really helped a lot in getting the actual understanding of the subject.
However
, I feel one thing can be improved about the
course
. The trial version of any
cloud
platform can be provided to the students so that they can practice at home as well.
This
trial's duration can be kept the same as that of the
course
.
This
will really help students in learning on their own. I hope the suggestion will be considered. Thanks for guiding us to attend
this
session. Yours Sincerely, John

Use cohesive linking words accurately and appropriately

Linking words are very important in your essay.

To score effectively on your IELTS exam, you should make an effort to implement short concise sentences coupled with linking words.

Almost every sentence in your essay should have a linking word of some sort.

In fact, the only sentences that can omit linking words are your background sentence and thesis.

Linking word examples:

  • firstly
  • secondly
  • thirdly
  • in additional
  • moreover
  • also
  • for example
  • for instance
  • therefore
  • however
  • although
  • even though
  • despite
