In spite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world still go hungry.

Why is this the case?

What can be done about this problem?
At
this
moment, even though some breakthroughs are developed in the agriculture sector, enormous nations still experience a
hunger
problem
. Regarding
this
issue, I would like to discuss the reasons why
this
problem
is happening
as well as
what actions can be done to tackle
this
issue.
To begin
with, there are some reasons why many nations fail to handle the
hunger
problem
in their countries.
Firstly
, the demand for
food
is much higher compared to the capability of
food
supply. Specifically, in around 10-20 years, the population in a particular country can grow by a significant number,
while
the
ability
to produce
food
resources is still at the same level.
As a result
, there is an unbalanced situation between the capacity of demand and the
ability
of supply.
Furthermore
, in many developing countries, the
ability
of residents to buy a fundamental requirement in their life, like rice, is still at a low level. To illustrate, with a low salary, people cannot afford to buy some foods that have a high cost.
However
, there are some actions that can be done in order to address
this
hunger
issue.
Initially
, the government can take action to control the growth of the population in their country.
For instance
, by making some policies or regulations to limit the number of each family. Another example, policymakers can develop or promote some campaigns about overpopulation in their country
as well as
its problems.
In addition
, the government may provide financial aid to help residents buy some
food
resources. Alternatively, policymakers can control the price of
food
resources so that people can afford to obtain them. To summarize, the background of
hunger
problems in many countries can be determined by some aspects,
such
as an overpopulation
problem
and the financial
ability
of residents,
however
,
this
problem
actually can be addressed by several actions like managing the population, promoting campaigns, and controlling
food
prices.
