Some psychologists say that doing absolutely nothing for a period of time each day is the key to decreasing stress in everyday life. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some mental health experts advise us to put our
minds
to rest for a certain period of
time
every day so that we can de-stress ourselves, and keep our
minds
calm and stable. I agree with the statement because I think cognitive functioning
also
takes an equal amount of energy compared to physical tasks. In my essay below, I will
further
explain my opinion. To start with, a healthy mental state is key to accomplishing many responsibilities productively. Attention and concentration
also
play a significant role in most of our daily activities. Whenever we do heavy physical work, our body gets tired, but we do not realize that even our brains are
also
contributing huge amounts of energy and
hence
they
also
need to nap like our bodies.
For example
, most students when they study for a long
time
feel hungry very often. Some
people
say it is
due to
boredom,
however
Add a comma
,however
show examples
it is mainly
due to
the calories we are burning through our cognitive focus.
Thus
, I agree with the statement that our brains
also
need equal breaks like our bodies.
Secondly
, there are some folks who are called overthinkers. These
people
use their energy more in the act of thinking, so they feel tired very soon. For
people
like them, it is definitely unavoidable that they need to spend
time
doing nothing for a certain period of
time
to keep their
minds
sane.
Moreover
,
people
who try to maintain their peaceful nature make wise decisions as well.
Therefore
, I think it is vital to rest our
minds
regularly every day. In conclusion, I believe mental health is significant to completing most assignments effectively,
thereupon
I feel all human beings need some
time
to rest their consciousness as they can be most productive in their daily activities.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
