You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter describe the situation explain your problems and why it is difficult to work say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to inform you that I am rather unhappy with my current living situation. I was recently assigned a new housemate who is loud, unkempt and obnoxious. I have had housemates in the past and never had these issues. I am having to make
this
complaint as she has refused to make any efforts to change. Let me clarify my predicament. I was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) when I was three years old;
this
means I need extreme silence and focus to get my assignments done. My new housemate
however
stays up really late and plays really loud music all through the night.
this
makes it difficult for me to sleep or read. She
also
refuses to clean common areas, leaving the entire floor untidy and foul-smelling.
Hence
, I always have to clean up after her. Would you kindly have me transferred to a single occupancy room? As
this
will really alleviate my current suffering. Residing alone will mean I have more privacy and a quiet space to work. I genuinely will appreciate any help offered. I appreciate your thoughtfulness on
this
matter. Yours Faithfully, Loveth Ejeh
