A friend has written to you ask you how your IELTS studies are going . write a letter telling your friend how you are preparing for the test . -Say what progress you are making -Explain how you are preparing for the test -Say which section you are finding difficult
Hi Nancy,
I got your letter, I'm very happy after hearing from you. It's been a long, but I haven't forgotten our group studies during our school time. I am continuously improving the band through daily practice. I can score up to 7 bands in all modules which is a really high achievement for me in a very short time period.
Firstly
, I started with explanation videos of the IELTS exam and an understanding of paper style. Then
, go through marking rubrics for each so I can learn how bands are given. It took almost a week; obviously, the practice was the next step towards my success and I did it regularly. I follow many tips and tricks from different IELTS instructors. Moreover
, I started book reading and English web series which helps me a lot with all types of tests.
However
, I'm facing difficulties in Speaking Part 2 which is containing cue cards on any topic. Sometimes, there are many topics for which I don't have any knowledge or experience so I am unable to elaborate on them very well.
I know you scored high in the speaking module, please give me some tips.
Give my love to your family.
Take care,
