Some people like to go to a live sporting event, while others prefer to stay at home and watch it on television. Which do you prefer? Discuss both views using personal examples.

Across the world ,
sports
play a significant role in the lives of people. More and more prefer to enjoy sporting events outdoors as compared to another set of folks who derive happiness from being at
home
. In
this
essay, I will discuss both the argument and provide evidence of why watching
sports
from
home
is preferable. The majority of the population prefers to go out to see their favourite
sports
in stadiums as it is more lively and engaging . Population from different backgrounds and ages are present in large crowds, and because of these diverse groups of the community,
such
events are filled with enthusiasm and joy .
For instance
, being a hardcore cricket fan, I , once went to see the final World Cup match live at Dubai stadium and I was thrilled to witness the energy of the crowd , cheering for their favourite teams. In short, watching
such
events with large crowds having similar interests, inculcates a feeling of community and friendship.
On the other hand
, there are some humans who find joy in watching their preferred
sports
in the comfort of their houses
along with
their friends and families. My uncle who lives next door is one
such
kind of person.
While
growing up, I have always seen him enjoying all his favourite
sports
which include cricket and soccer, at his
home
as he believes that he will enjoy more if he is comfortable and with fewer people around him.
Thus
, It's evident that a large population
also
like to support watching games at
home
. In my personal opinion, I prefer to watch games at
home
with friends and family solely
due to
cost savings. Lately, the average cost of a ticket price for a basketball game in the USA is around 500$ which is a substantial amount for me that can be utilized for more needed purposes.
Therefore
, I believe that it's well suited for me to watch games at
home
at my own convenience
while
still saving some money. It can be concluded that it is a personal choice of people and it differs from individuals if they want to go out or stay at
home
. Watching live at the venue can surely amplify the experience with the community but with the amount of money I save
while
watching at
home
, I will always support the latter.
