Dear Miss Linda
I am writing to you to have your consent in looking after my house
while
I am away for a week's holiday.
Let me tell you that I am going to Shiraz to escape the hot temperature of my city and it would be an ideal option for me to spend some quality time with my parents, who live in Shiraz too.
I would like to have your favour in taking care of my house in my absence. Indeed, there is not any immense work to do; but, recently I have planet some flowers in the backyard, so they need to be watered every evening. Linking Words

You would be welcome anytime if any problem emerges. In case of an emergency, do make a call to me. If it is inaccessible, please do let one of my friends, who lives not far away from our place, know. I have sent his contact number to you and you can make a call for help.
I hope for a favourable reply and in the foreseeable future, if you need any kind of help, I will be available readily.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Best Regards,

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
