Many people believe that it is important to protect the environment, but they make no effort to protect it themselves.problem/solutions?

With the innovation of society, an increasing number of
people
realize the significance of environmental preservation
while
few of them turn the slogans into actions. In
this
essay, I will discuss the causes of
this
issue, and what can be done for citizens to protect our planet. The main reason for
this
phenomenon is the conflict between environmental protection and personal satisfaction. Altering words into actions can be energy-consuming progress, bringing inconvenience to individuals' life in some cases.
For example
, there's no denying that riding bicycles is regarded as a more
environment
-friendly way, but the majority of
people
tend to drive to work considering their limited time and energy. In
this
case, the desire for convenience outweighs the responsibility for the
environment
, which explains why their slogans and promises are so empty and feeble.
Besides
, another reason for the issue lies in individuals' unconsciousness of their duties of preserving the ecosystem. Many
people
may claim that what they can do exerts few effects on the
environment
, compared to the domains of industry or agriculture, so their efforts are likely to be effortless.
However
, it is the very small attempt that matters. Only by accumulating every effort, can a huge target --
environment
protection--be accomplished. But most
people
fail to recognize
this
, so they stick to their comfort zone and take no action. To address
this
issue, the government should take on the responsibility to emphasize its importance and set rewards for those who take the initiative to protect the
environment
. In
this
way, citizens can get a deeper understanding of
environment
preservation and receive more sense of achievement and well-being when sacrificing their time and energy.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
